An aged amaro from historic producers, Braulio. Amaro Alpino was first made all the way back in 1875, and the exact mixture of botanicals remains a closely guarded secret, although rootsy notes of wormwood and gentian can be found along resinous juniper and alpine herbs. It's aged in oak barrels for up to two years, and the interaction with the wood is said to be a key step in creating the unique flavour profile. Sip slowly as a digestif, or use as an ingredient in cocktail creations.
